The project investigates the potential of ground-based robotics for urban reconfiguration.

For this purpose, Promytheus was designed, developed, and tested through both digital simulations and physical prototyping.

Powered by a Raspberry Pi and a control board, and operated through ROS (Robot Operating System), Promytheus is capable of autonomous movement and lifting objects with a substantial payload.

The research explores how mobile robotic systems can interact with and reconfigure the built environment, opening new possibilities for adaptable and responsive urban spaces.
