The project investigates the potential of incremental sheet forming through robotic fabrication using a KUKA industrial robot.
The design exploration focuses on moiré patterns, digitally simulated and translated into a generative design process. Through the interaction of overlapping geometries and robotic forming techniques, the research explores how computational design and robotic fabrication can transform flat sheet material into complex three-dimensional surfaces.
